El equipo de Torres Pradas

A partir de aquí se crearon empresas para explotar gamas diferentes de productos: punto, sedería, sportwear, lanería, etc. Con el volumen de ventas llegó la cración de una estructura industrial.

La primera fabrica se creó a principios de los años ochenta y tenía 24 telares. Le siguieron los tintes y la estampación y posteriormente se amplió a 75 telares. En los años noventa se creó una fabrica con 70 telares y una planta de acabados especializados.

Actualmente el Grupo Torres Pradas desarrolla su actividad a través de tres empresas, cada una especializada en tipos de tejido diferente: New Junior, Nova Lanería (Novalansa) y Premier Tex.

En la actualidad el Grupo está dirigido por los hijos del Sr. J. Torres Pradas: Jose Maria, que dirige la parte comercial, Eulalia, encargada del departamento financiero y Gemma, al frente de diseño.
